The IBB Fund

There are three schemes open to young people in Ghana who have completed their secondary education and want to study nursing at a university or college in Ghana.

The Awards

  • Scholarships: Tuition fees and Accommodation (usually up to £900 per year for each student).
  • Bursaries: One of the items covered in the Scholarship as required (usually in the range of £300- £700 per year).
  • One off grants: Equipment for studies such as iPads, laptops and other equipment for study.

Eligibility

To be eligible for these funds the applicant –

  • Must provide documentation of acceptance to an accredited Nursing College or University locally.
  • The candidate must demonstrate financial need and outstanding academic performance.
  • The candidate must express a sincere desire to actively pursue a career in nursing or a related course.

Others

  • Specialist advice and support for Students with Special Educational Needs to enable them further their education.
  • Yearly prizes.
  • We also offer mentorship schemes.
  • Ongoing advice and support for qualified nurses.
